The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (aka BCPE), a rollicking hilarious holiday show, brought delight to the faces of many families during it December, 2004 run at the Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon.

In this story, Grace Bradley is stuck directing the church Christmas pageant for the year and her predecessor is none too happy about it. Her kids don’t want to be in it and her husband doesn’t want to go. But that’s not the worst of her problems. Thins just get crazy when the worst family in the history of the world, the Herdmans, become the key players; Mary, Joseph, the Wisemen, and the Angel of God.
