Pinocchio... During the spring of 2003, youth presented a delightful musical dramatization of "Pinocchio" with all the charm of the original Italian fairytale: Gepetto's granting of a son; Pinocchio's guidance from Mr. Cricket and the Blue Fairy; the gullibility of Pinocchio who's led away by the mysterious Coachman to Funland, where he and Lampwick become donkeys; the famous lie-telling resulting in his long nose; lessons of honesty, goodness and bravery; and his eventual transition into a real boy. The play is rich in well-known musical songs and is sure to be loved by children of all ages.
