META Performing Arts Camp 2008!!

Here are the details on our fabulous performing arts camp!

Unlike any other summertime camp!  Here are the details, costs and dates

NOT JUST ANOTHER SUMMER CAMP! 

Our instructors are Professionals from around the state.

 

 WHO WILL ENJOY OUR CAMP:

Age groupings: 5-7 year olds, 8-11 yr olds, 12 (with experience) and up

WHEN:

July 14-18, July 21-25, and July 28-Aug 1

1/2 day or Full day option, 1-3 weeks  9-Noon and 1-4pm

LOCATION: 

SKAGIT VALLEY COLLEGE

WHAT YOU GET:

  • Professional headshot with a CD you get to keep for reprints

  • Optional Lunch-time care for 12 and under for a small fee

  • Guest performers

  • Teens qualify to audition for  META Performing Arts Improv Troupe

  • Backstage tours of the 650 seat theatre, McIntyre Hall

 

Classes include:

Dance and music workshops in "The Wiz",  META's upcoming November show, (lots of) physical theatre, dialects, stage combat, improvisation (several styles), auditioning, Shakespeare, musical theatre studies, dance, choreography, and vocal training. 

*Please note:  not all classes are available all sessions for all age groups.  Check back for a more specific schedule.

COSTS:

Half Day one week (15 hours) $125.00          Full days (30 hours) $225.00

5-7 year olds, morning sessions only

For safety reasons, 8-12 yr olds must remain on campus and pay for lunchtime care, unless the child is being picked up by an adult.  Lunchtime care will be $15.00 or under and does not include the child's lunch.

Lunchtime care is not available for 5-7 year olds

EARLY SIGN-UP DISCOUNTS:

$110. half day and $210. full day
